Novel cryofixation method
A successful immuno detection experiment combines high quality detection reagents and an optimized incubation protocol with specimens displaying well-preserved antigens and ultrastructure. With this in mind, Jan Leunissen and Hong Yi developed a novel cryofixation method for specimen preparation in electron microscopy. It was published in the July 2009 issue of the Journal of Microscopy*.
